I know I have been working on my final piece and developing my art style, but sometimes I just cannot help but spend extra time on what should be just a sketch.

I started off just wanting to draw an anime girl wearing a kimono. As soon as I started drawing using pens, the hair just started to happen and I started loving it! Somehow, it felt therapeutic drawing the detail on her hair. It took me absolutely ages, and it felt like I was in a trance.

I would have to say that the kimono fabric was just a random design I found online that I really liked. If I am to do more of this style, I will have to create my own kimono designs! Maybe that should be another plan for another day.
