I was really excited when I got a message from a man in America asking if I would create an Evil Smurf for his jeep! He found my blog online and saw my evil smurf entry and that was where he thought to ask me if I could do one for him too. I was ever so flattered that someone on the other side of the world would ask and pay for my art.



I haven’t done any digital art for awhile and I felt excited getting my Wacom out and setting up the software in my PC. I know that everyone else uses Photoshop, but I really cannot give up my love for Gimp. Also, I cannot afford to get Photoshop which is why I only have Photoshop CS2 which is not as good as it used to be. Setting it all up, getting the right brushes and finding my way again around Gimp took me over an hour! I can’t believe how long it has been!

Overall, the customer really liked my work which is something I am really  proud of! Another bonus is the fact that I got paid for creating this evil Smurf and I am ever so happy! I wouldn’t mind doing this full time that’s for sure.
